Deanery Synod representatives from each church are elected for three years, and at the first meeting of each time period (triennium) Synod elects some of its members to for the Deanery Standing, Mission and Pastoral Committee. This body is responsible for setting the agenda for Synod and dealing with any business between synods, as well as following up any actions from Synod meetings.
