Stockton Deanery is an exciting place to be for young people. Six of our churches have thriving youth groups and youth work takes place across the traditions. We have a Church of England Secondary school within the Deanery – Ian Ramsey school.

Cafe church

Yarm and Stockton both host a cafe church in Costa coffee. Suitable for those in secondary school, there is live music, a short talk and the chance to chat and chill over your favourite hot drink.

Doulos Leadership Programme

Run by Tees Valley Youth for Christ, Doulos is a three year leadership programme for youth in year 10 and above.

Refresh Youth Service

Hosted at All Saints’ Preston on Tees, Refresh is a service specifically for young people of all denominations and is a time of great worship, teaching from excellent speakers, prayer and a free cafe! With over 100 young people attending each month, what’s not to love….?

Tees Valley Youth For Christ

In Stockton we are amazingly blessed by TVYFC who supply gap year interns  to a number of our churches to serve the young people for a year at a time. TVYFC also run youth clubs, school assemblies, service initiatives and leadership programmes.
