Stockton Parish Church has an amazing story. Back in 2007 Rev. Alan Farish saw a church with only a handful of members and prayed, “Lord, send someone to lead that church.” Well God listened, and Alan answered, and today SPC is a vibrant church packed full of people from all walks of life and over 20 nationalities.

SPC believes that together they are called as a church to be ‘a beacon for God’s kingdom’.

This means:

  • They believe Jesus that loves Stockton. The parish is ranked 8 out of over 12500 parishes for poverty and deprivation and they are committed to bringing the good news of the gospel into the town and being part of the transformation of this area, in partnership with brothers and sisters in other local churches.
  • They feel called to be a church that resources others – making and nurturing disciples, developing leaders, and working with others to build the kingdom, both here in Stockton and more widely.
  • They also have a global perspective, as we support mission partners in the Philippines and in Western Tanzania, as well as being a truly global congregation.

Service Times:

Sunday 10.30am: An informal, lively service with worship and teaching, translated into Farsi

Wednesday 12pm: Prayer and reflection followed by a simple agape meal

What they do well:

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, what language you speak, what you wear or how desperate your personal circumstances, SPC has a place for you in this friendly and caring church family
